When facing Fox, prioritize closing the distance instead of trying to zone him out with projectiles, as his Shine can negate your ranged attacks and punish you severely. Focus on timing your approaches; rush in during openings, especially when Fox is recovering horizontally offstage, as reading his Up-B or Side-B can lead to an early knockout.
