Zelda vs Shulk
When playing Zelda against Shulk, focus on maintaining distance to exploit her ranged options like Din's Fire and Nayru's Love. Utilize Nayru's Love to counter Shulk's aggression, especially when he attempts to pressure with his aerials; this can create openings for you to punish. If Shulk relies on his counter, be ready to grab him as he telegraphs that option, and capitalize on his poor positioning with up special out of shield when he overcommits. Keep an eye on his Monado Arts—switching to Speed can make him a threat, but if he opts for Shield, you can chip away at his defenses with your projectiles.
Tips for Zelda vs Shulk
- Any good Zelda will grab Shulk if he spams counter, if you see that will really counter wait to counter happens and proceed to punish. If he isn't good spacing his aerials you can do upB oos.
- In the same vein as Roy or Lucina, Shulk gives Zelda a hard time if he can pressure at close range, although that's obvious since he has no ranged attacks and she has Naryu's Love anyway.
