Don't just use PK Fire from the ground, it's much safer using it out of short hop, and catches a lot of enemies trying to jump over.

Aim PK-Freeze for where you think they'll dodge to, since your opponent is unlikely to stand still. It's okay to miss, just don't get greedy and risk getting hit if you're not confident.

Lucas' Down B looks like it only faces one way, but he automatically flips around to absorb shots at his back.
